Guild Wars 2 2026 - Opening the map and Hero points farming

EoD Content area Hero points that is. Just a few more points to go and I will be able to setup my last two elite specializations. Likely have everything in HoT and PoF, though there are still seven I can pickup in Dragons Stand and I'm sure a few more in the newer content areas too. This video is basically a casual ride through the EoD content areas, now that I have progressed the story to a point I have access to my Jade Bot and can freely travel around it seemed like a good time to go open the map and grab Hero points, so I can build the other two elite specializations out. Likely done with the story missions for now and will just be goofing off finding fun where I find it. The story seems a bit boring at times and not all that interesting to me; but I need to do it for mastery points or slack off on getting them all filled out. The value of all masteries isn't all that clear to me other than feeling unnecessarily over grindy and questionable if worth while. Firebrand is fun and even for me, a clumsy fumbling key pusher not all too aware of what does what exactly, it is easily a survivable build, just slow DPs. Slow DPS is quality of life thing mostly as I see it, as long as I am surviving I prefer that condition over fast DPS and hard to stay not downed or worse. I didn't get every hero point per the map count indicated; but I did get the easy stuff that is plainly visible on the map which sums to nearly all of them.
