Hi everyone, this is John from Zoom and in this video we will introduce you to Zoom Guitar Lab 3.0 Guitar Lab is a free software used with the Zoom G5n, G3Xn, G3n and B3n. It includes both a Patch Manager and an Effects Manager and gives you access to tons of new effects and exclusive patches from our growing library of creators. Simply plug your G5n into an internet-connected computer, power on the pedal, and open the Zoom Guitar Lab software. Zoom offers updates featuring new amp+cabinet combinations, stompboxes, and preset patches from Zoom Creators. With the new Guitar Lab 3.0 application for Mac and Windows, you have access to Zoom’s library of amp models, effects and patches. Guitar Lab will display your patches the same way they appear on your pedal’s display. You can add/delete effects, adjust parameters, rearrange your effects chain, backup & organize their patches, and more. Effect View now includes detailed parameter descriptions for each effect, eliminating the need to reference the detailed Effects List document. An integrated tuner display allows users to keep their eyes on the screen at all times. Guitar Lab 3.0’s advanced UI monitors your CPU usage while you edit for maximum efficiency. For user convenience, the new Clipboard function memorizes up to four effects with custom parameters, so you can copy and paste them onto other patches. The News section contains newly added effects and patches, as well as demo sounds, all available for download directly from the app. Once downloaded, you can easily load them to your pedal through Guitar Lab.
