"Seki no Akikaze" (関の秋風), meaning "Autumn Wind at the Sekisho," is a piece originally composed for shakuhachi ensemble by Fukuda Rando. The title references a historical checkpoint ("sekisho"), evoking the imagery and atmosphere of autumn winds at such locations. In this interpretation, I use two different shinobue flutes: a shinobue 6 (in B) and a shinobue 1 (in F), which is the lowest register.
