But, what is the worst year ever? and how did humans almost go extinct? 2020 has been downright devastating from the pandemic to bush fires in Australia and global unrest. But is it the worst year ever? the year 536 is often noted as the worst year ever. and 536 was in fact awful. 2020, by comparison, holds almost nothing to it. especially once you factor in the Justinian plague.
