He practices at the following hospitals: Baton Rouge General Hospital, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, and University Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Barham received a B.S. from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and an M.D. from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He completed a residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver. He went on to specialize in a formal rhinology, rhinoplasty, and skull base surgery fellowship program in Sydney, Australia, under Prof. Richard Harvey, Prof. Raymond Sacks, and Dr. George Marcells. Dr. Barham has returned to his home state of Louisiana to practice as one of only a few dedicated rhinologists in the Southeast United States. He has authored over 100 publications and book chapters and currently serves on the boards of multiple otolaryngology, rhinology, and skull base publications. He is actively involved in conducting research projects and collaborating with similar physicians both nationally and internationally.
