The basics, and a little extra for getting started with Stop Motion. A NOTE FOR ANY SCHOOLS SHOWING THIS IN CLASS/USING THIS VIDEO FOR HOMEWORK: I am so incredibly honored that I even get to write a paragraph like this; never in my life would I imagine this little lesson video I did in my bedroom, with a few yards of black felt hanging over my closet doors, might eventually grow into something animation classes would use worldwide. While some have politely asked, I will state here that you all have my full permission to do so. This is not a requirement, and obviously the safety and privacy of the students comes first, but if any animations are made following this end up online, I would absolutely love to see them.
