US Attacks on Iran’s Kharg Island Launched from UAE | Iran FM Abbas Araghchi Warns of Response

Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of Iran, has accused the United States of launching attacks on Kharg Island from locations in the United Arab Emirates. According to Iran’s state media Press TV, Araghchi stated that the attacks targeted Iran’s key oil export hub on Kharg Island and the strategic Abu Musa Island. He alleged that rockets were launched from areas near Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai, calling the action unacceptable and extremely dangerous, especially if weapons are fired from densely populated regions. Araghchi warned that Iran would give a strong response to the attacks while ensuring civilian areas are protected. He also criticized the US security strategy in the region and claimed Washington is now seeking support from China to maintain security in the Strait of Hormuz.
