ARRM’s mission is to advocate for, inform and support Minnesota organizations serving people in the disability and mental health communities. Funding for crucial programs and providers that support the disability community is being challenged due to the recent fraud allegations and budget cuts being discussed in Minnesota. Based on what is going on and what is in jeopardy of being lost, our conversation with Sue couldn't come at a better time. In this episode, we'll talk about the current challenges facing service providers in Minnesota, and how that is affecting those who rely on special services. We also talk about the current funding and staffing crisis that is making it difficult for those with disabilities to get the care they need.
