SGS UK TransitNet: A Post-Brexit Customs Transit Solution

Brexit will result in massive changes for all companies which import, export, trade with or transport goods from and to the UK. Pre-Brexit, it was not necessary to provide customs declarations for trade between the UK and the majority of continental Europe; however post-Brexit it will be. SGS introduces TransitNet, a one stop shop solution allowing electronic submissions of transit declarations along with the necessary customs guarantee from 24 new computerized transit system (NCTS) countries, including the UK and Ireland, as well as to the customs systems of Belarus and Moldova providing access to nearly 40 destinations within the NCTS and EAEU regions.
