In this video, Becca spins cotton with a Book Charkha and cuts a big hole in her knitting! Then she puts in an afterthought heel. Our Summertime Make-A-Long is in full swing! Thank you to all of you who have joined already. This is a nice, laid back, stress free summertime make-a-long. If you're in the southern hemisphere you can join in and make something for next summer! There are no rules about what materials you have to use. You can knit, crochet, sew, or just make whatever you want as long as it is something you would wear in the summer. I'm thinking short sleeve tops, tank tops, shorts, sundresses, sun hats, that sort of thing. The Summertime Make-A-Long goes from the end of May through the end of July. You can make one project or as many projects as you want. We can share what we make on Instagram with the hashtag #summermakealong and in the Ravelry group SummerMake-A-Long so we can all bask in this wonderful summer fun.
