ALLAMA PRABHU is a 12th Century Philosopher , Mystic , Yogi & a Sage Allama, Allaya , Prabhudevaru are some of the other names with which Allama Prabhu is also affectionately called. Allama has penned Vachanas, Swara Vachanas, and Mantra Gopya under the Pen Name ( Ankita Naama) Guheshwara. He focused on spirituality and mysticism and expressed his experiences in a mystical language , with his Vachanas, pregnant with mystic experience and wisdom . Allama is the First Peethaadhyaksha ( President ) of Anubhava Mantapa founded by Basaveshwara. As a Mystic , He dispels the doubts in the minds of the seekers such as Gorakhnath ,Basaveshwara , Akka Mahadevi , Muktayakka, Goggayya, Siddharama, and many other Shiva Sharanas and makes them tread the righteous path. There was a rich undercurrent of asceticism in him which occasionally was reflected through his demeanor.
