The “Jamia Islamia Maseeh-ul -Uloom” was founded in the auspicious memory of the great Islamic scholar and theologian, Hazrat Maulana Maseehullah Khan, a brilliant disciple of one of the greatest Islamic revivalists of all times in the Islamic World, Hazrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (May Allah be pleased with him). In its earliest stages, the Jamia began its activities in a little room adjacent to “Masjid-e-Baidwadi”, Armstrong Road, Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore. But soon after the Jamia commenced its activities, it saw a surprising influx of seekers of education, and students in the quest for Islamic knowledge. The number of students kept increasing day by the day. These circumstances encouraged Jamia to move forward to achieve greater goals in the future. The Jamia has had always a great purpose and noble objectives as its goal. The Jamia has throughout all its history and still does its best to take every work and undertaking most responsibly and professionally. It is only with Allah’s grace and blessing, the Jamia has emerged as a grand Islamic centre for serving Islam. We are grateful to Almighty Allah for His numerous blessings and thank Him for His countless endowments on the Jamia and its workers.
