Karnataka HC Revokes Ban On 'Online Gaming:' Big Relief For Fantasy Sports Fans?

As per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now from Karnataka, in relief for fantasy gaming companies, the Karnataka HC has struct down certain provisions that were issued by the state, prohibiting online gaming & gambling in September 2021. Reportedly, the Karnataka government had amended the police act which banned online gaming as unconstitutional. The Karnataka HC clarified that it wasn't striking down the entire act and will not be interfering if the state brings in a new law that is in consonance with the constitution.
