Hello friends and family! This is my 2nd video and a variation of my 1st video on how to make Lemon Granita. Here's a link to Lemon Granita Italian Ice Made Easy • Lemon Granita Italian Ice Made Easy! #1 For this recipe you'll need; 5 to 6 Big Lemons One pack of fresh Cherries (at least 2 cups) 1 Cup of granulated sugar 1 Cup of fresh lemon juice 2 Cups of water 1 Tbls of fresh zest AND A FOOD PROCESSOR (very important) Combine water and sugar in a pot on low heat and stir till disolved, set aside to cool. Wash your Cherries and take out the pits and remove the stems. A cherry pitting tool really helps with this step. Next rinse and zest your lemons and then cut em' in half for juicing. Juice them till you have a cup of juice and be sure to strain the seeds out. Next place the pitted and stemmed cherries in the food processor with the lemon juice and zest. Blend on high till there are no chucks. Combine cherry/lemon mix with the sugar water we made earlier. Pour everything into 5 to 6 cup sealable glass container and place into the freezer for 24 hours. Next day break up frozen granita with a strong fork or something similar to place into the food processor. No need to break it up too much, just enough to get into the processor. Blend on high and then check for chunks, blend and check for chunks three times total. Once granita is smooth, ENJOY! Put the remainder back in the container in the freezer for another day.
