Join Sierra Domb, Founder of the Visual Snow Initiative (VSI), as she shares insights into VSI’s latest collaboration with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF). This partnership features knowledge from renowned Neurologists, Neuro-Ophthalmologists, and VSS researchers Dr. Sui Wong and Owen White. Together, VSI and OMF have launched a free Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) module designed specifically for individuals with Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS). This resource is now accessible in 170 countries via the Oxford Mindfulness App. This initiative reflects VSI’s dedication to creating free, accessible, and science-backed resources tailored to the diverse needs, symptoms, and medical histories of the global VSS community. These efforts aim to provide VSS patients with more safe and viable options to explore, empowering them with new resources to determine what may work best for their specific case of VSS, with guidance from their medical provider. While striving toward a cure, VSI continues to share information, develop accessible tools, and create a range of resources that may offer potential relief or benefit individuals with VSS in the interim.
