The Simpsons: Hit & Run - Bonus Video (Bonus Movie, Cheats, Multiplayer Mode)

In today's episode of the "Hit & Run" playthrough, we watch the bonus cutscene that's unlocked by obtaining all of the collector cards, check out multiplayer mode, and play around with cheats. As interesting as the "Itchy & Scratchy" bonus movie that you unlock by getting all of the collector cards is, that's not the best reward that the game has to offer. That honor goes to the Unlock Cars cheat, which you can utilize by going into the Options screen on the main menu and inputting the code while holding down two buttons. You see, if this cheat is used before completing the game 100%, it simply unlocks all of the standard vehicles that you can purchase over the course of the game. However, once you've done everything that the game has to offer- complete all of the missions, beat all of the races, destroy all of the wasps, etc.- this cheat lets you summon any vehicle in the game, even ones that are exclusive to specific missions, from a phonebooth. Granted, most of these vehicles are horrible to drive, but nonetheless, it's a cool bonus that gives you so many options for goofing around- especially if you combine it with other cheats, such as the ones for invincible vehicles, increased speed, and the ability to jump with you vehicle by honking the horn. Though my personal favorite cheat in terms of functionality (even though I don't show it here) is the One Hit Kills Car cheat, which, as the name implies, allows for you to destroy any NPC vehicle by simply ramming into it- perfect for those missions where the traffic is your greatest obstacle and races where winning feels all but impossible. And before you ask, the game doesn't penalize you whatsoever for using cheats, so feel free to go mad with them. Speaking of which, a full list of cheat codes can be found on the Cheats page of the "Hit & Run" wiki. However, for some reason, the Redbrick Car cheat doesn't work for me, even though I hear the confirmation horn sound when I enter it. In regards to my next playthrough, the first episode will be uploaded this coming Friday, 5/30/25. In the meantime, tomorrow, 5/29/25, I'll be uploading a remix.
