Looking back, I think we as a community may have been way too hard on Vanguard. Does that mean it's good? Hell no. However, it is lots of fun! There actually are some things I like about Vanguard, first off, this game is so fast paced and as an impatient person and player that is huge to me. In so many COD's games will just drag on and take so long and make you bored fast. But the fact that you move so fast in this game makes it so much fun! Unlike MW 2019, everyone moves so fast. Instead of sweaty cheesers trying to get an advantage (again like mw 2019) and for me that's fun. The maps are also very fun! (The maps I got at least) I would be lying if I said I knew all the maps because I honestly don't remember but again the maps I did play had an easy map layout to understand and it was a blast! BUT again, the damn Gunsmith is broken only it is worse than how it was in Cold War. My criticism for Cold War was 1 it was way too much, but 2 it doesn't fit in with the setting. In COD WaW you only had attachments that were invented in that game. In Vanguard you have literally everything. Even futuristic fictional attachments. I think a game especially in the setting of WW2 should commit to the setting and not beef it up and make it unrealistic. Overall, I think Vanguard is still very awful which is why nobody plays it. I know I gave this game a lot of praise, but it was because I had a good experience that I know I likely won't ever have again. But how do you feel about Vanguard? Let me know, I'd love to hear it!
