Grinnell Glacier in addition to being the park's most accessible glacier also bears the name of one of the most influential conservationists responsible for the region's preservation. You'll encounter 4 stunning lakes: Swiftcurrent, Josephine, Lower Grinnell, and upper Grinnell and get up-close looks at two of the parks quickly disappearing glaciers. Outhouses: Grinnell Glacier parking area, west shore of Lake Josephine near the boat dock, near trail's end before exiting treeline. The final outhouse is concealed from view.
