We arrived at Island 8 where “Sail Rock” is located. Sail Rock is a famous viewpoint where you can see a beautiful view of the Ao Kuek or “Donald Duck Bay”, which is surrounded by large rock piles where everyone is invited to take a short hike to the viewpoint and enjoy a swim in the tropical blue waters. Our second stop brought us to Island 9 or Koh Bangu where you are then given snorkeling gear and allowed to explore the ocean life for about 40 minutes. After spending some time snorkeling we headed to a nearby island to enjoy lunch and also explored Honeymoon Beach before getting back on the boat and heading to Island 7 or Koh Bay in search for sea turtles. A group of people from our boat managed to spot some, but they quickly swam away before I could catch a glimpse of them on camera! Guests are then typically given the chance to visit Island 4 or Koh Miang An, which has two beautiful islands that offer people the ability to walk between the two in shallow water. However, our tour boat headed back to the main land in anticipation of bad weather. We had a great time though, and I would recommend Love Andaman to anyone traveling to the Similan Islands during their next Thailand island snorkeling adventure!
