In todays video, the second video in our series from the Outer Hebrides of Lewis and Harris, we head north in order to find the Calanais Standing Stones (made famous by the hit series Outlander). The with a storm brewing we head to Stornoway before venturing further north to Gearannan Blackhouse Village, Shawbost Beach and then finally to the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse. We are planning to spend around two weeks exploring the Western Isles of Lewis and Harris and it's famous beaches and it's famous historic sites along with my good friends Marco & Tina from ‪@HakunaMaPumbaa‬, go give them some support! The outer Hebrides of Lewis and Harris are stunning, but they are wild, remote and unforgiving for vanlife, especially in winter time, but equally totally rewarding.
