1972 Toyota Corolla: Strut & Hub Restoration

In this episode I restore the front strut assembly giving it some new bearings, races, seals, shocks, and a fresh powder coat. Every step I get closer to building this car again I have to learn something new. This time it was mainly about packing bearings, replacing races, and how to properly install strut inserts and springs. All the parts were easily sourced through rockauto, with the struts sourced through ToyHead Auto, unfortunately they sent me the wrong size so I couldnt use them in this video. Everything was easily learned through youtube, I saw a bunch of great videos from the trailersmith channel, he had a lot of information about packing bearings, and setting races, go check him out. Next we'll finally be assembling all these parts back on the car.
