Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir On the 10th day of our Amritsar, Kashmir & Jammu Tour we woke up early and packed our bags because this was the time to say goodbye to Srinagar. Today we are traveling to Pahalgam for a one night stay and sightseeing. We had our breakfast at a place called Pampore where we got to see Saffron (Kesar) farms and also were lucky to purchase some produce directly from the outlets next to these farms. Our next stop was at a place called Hallamulla which is popular for producing cricket bats and supplying Kashmiri Willow various parts of the world. Here we grabbed a cricket bat at a heavily discounted price and experienced the factory ourselves although we were asked not to film the premises. We reached Pahalgam in the afternoon and checked into our hotel. After a quick lunch we hired local tourist taxis for the sightseeing tour. Our itinerary included Aru Valley, Chandanwari and Betaab Valley. All of the places were amazing and we somehow managed to visit all the places just in time.
