"Reckless Behavior" Ian McFarland

It was a lot of fun going from learning the guitar to learning to write a song to learning how to sing the songs you write. I'm still chasing better songs but doing these exercises helps me immensely. Of course I cannot do this type of video or perform at venues without the help of a network of incredible musician friends Big hug and thank you to; Dom DiMaria - bass guitar / pink hair Jared Pease - drum kit / broadway angle Darling Nichole Currier - backing vocals / percussion / girl The song "Reckless Behavior" is a condensed coming of age story that follows a romantic relationship. I'll admit the chorus was a bit of a cop out and I do not find it as compelling as the verses however I'm also of the opinion that it is very easy to learn because of its simplicity and that can be a key ingredient in writing good songs. The proudest piece of the song is how we were able to recreate from our own homes a jam band session full of little rhythmic and melodic passages where we pick up on each other and form a cohesive unit.
