#truecrimepodcast #legalanalysis #criminaldefense Tonight on Defense Diaries Live, we're discussing Aaron Spencer - a father who did what any parent would do when he found his daughter with the man accused of S.A.ing her. The Lonoke County Prosecutor just filed a response fighting to admit statements Spencer made MONTHS before the shooting, trying to paint him as a vigilante who planned to "take the law into his own hands." But here's what they're not telling you: Michael Fosler was arrested on July 11, 2024 for raping Spencer's minor daughter - charged with felony Rape and Internet Stalking of a child. A judge set his bond at $50,000 with a NO CONTACT order. Fosler bonded out after posting only $5k on July 17th. Then on October 8, 2024 at 1:12 AM, Spencer's daughter is MISSING. Her bed is made to look like she's asleep, but she's gone. Spencer finds Fosler - a man under court order to have NO CONTACT with his daughter - driving with his child in the passenger seat at around 1:20 AM in the morning. Spencer did what he had to do to stop a predator who violated his bond conditions and was actively fleeing with his daughter. This wasn't vigilante justice - this was a father protecting his child from imminent harm. The State wants to use Spencer's frustrated comments from July 8th about not trusting the judicial system. Well, guess what? Spencer was RIGHT not to trust the system - because the system FAILED. They let Fosler out on bond, and he then went after Spencer's daughter again. Tonight we're breaking down: Why this was justified defense of another, not murder How the State is misusing Rule 404(b) to prejudice the jury Why Spencer's prior statements are irrelevant to what he faced that night The imminent threat Fosler posed by violating the no-contact order How the criminal justice system failed this family twice Aaron Spencer protected his daughter. That's not murder - It's Justifiable Homicide and that's what any good father would do. #JusticeForAaronSpencer #DefendingFathers #defensediaries #ArkansasInjustice #truecrimecommunity
