In this video, we revisit a dental implant site nine months after the removal of a failed Bicon implant and a simultaneous horizontal ridge augmentation using a Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) procedure with a non-resorbable TR PTFE membrane. The procedure begins with the careful removal of the PTFE membrane to assess the quality and volume of the newly regenerated bone. Following a successful evaluation, a tapered Straumann Bone Level (BLC) implant is placed with precision through a digital preplanning and use of a guide. To enhance gingival volume and optimize the soft tissue contour, a simultaneous contour Xenograft is applied.
