2025 GMC Savana/Express Advanced 4x4 Conversion Walk Under and 10k Mile Review

Quick overview of our experience with an Advanced 4x4 converted 2025 GMC Savana 3500. This is the 12 pass 135” wheelbase model with the 6.6 L8T gasser and 8L90 trans. Ordered new and drop shipped to advanced for upfit before delivery. We also have a 2016 6.6 diesel express. Keep an eye out for a run down the 1/4 mile strip in the somewhat near future once it’s light out a little later into the evenings. This was advanced’s standard 4x4 conversion. Manual shift t case, 2” lift (they’ll do 0-3” for the same price), GM 9.25 ifs axel up front. Only add on I had was Advance adding the Helwig rear sway bar. IIRC that added about 350 to the tag. As of April 25 this upfit ran right around 14,500. If you have a large family and would like killer power and the benefits of 4x4 with greater reliability and much lower cost than a Tahoe or suburban, this is an option well worth considering.
