What do you get when you add a caveman Audio AP1 Acoustic Preamp to your signal? We set out to explore, as guitarist ‪@rasmusbirkguitar‬ plays through an A/B recording setup. This lovely song is named 'I Skovens Dybe Stille Ro'. It's a Danish folk song, which translates to something along the lines of 'In the Deep Calmness of the Forest', and Rasmus added some jazzy changes, but remains absolutely true to the original expression and natural mood of the song. 🙌 Now, the technical setup is designed to emulate a real live sound environment, which means we used a custom-designed active splitter box and ran one of the signals through an active DI box similar to the ones you typically find on most stages. The other signal went through an AP1 Acoustic Preamp, and both signals were recorded directly through the line inputs of an RME audio interface. NOTE!
