Enhancing Regional Access: Launch of Recommendations Report, Action Plan&Roadmap (Original language)

As part of the TSI project “Enhancing regional access to and performance in EU initiatives and funds”, the OECD conducted intermediary workshops and discussions between November 2025 and February 2026 in the Brussels-Capital Region (Belgium), Silesia (Poland), Thuringia (Germany), and Wallonia (Belgium), and produced a recommendation report, action plan and implementation roadmap in collaboration with all four regions. These documents present targeted reforms aimed at enhancing regional access to and performance in EU funds and initiatives. This virtual event marked the launch of the recommendation report, action plan and implementation roadmap for the project “Enhancing regional access to and performance in EU initiatives and funds,” focusing on the regions of Brussels-Capital Region (Belgium), Silesia (Poland), Thuringia (Germany), and Wallonia (Belgium). Participants gained insights into the main recommendations proposed, as well as the actions aimed at strengthening regional capacity to access, manage and strategically align EU funds with regional priorities.
