#mg #mghsphev #suv MG’s HS entered its 2nd generation last year, with a complete overhaul bringing it up to the increasingly competitive standard in the class, so far it has proved very successful for MG! The PHEV model provides an official WLTP EV range of 75 miles, however I managed around 60, which is still almost double the range of the outgoing HS PHEV & many competitors too. The design is now much more attractive inside & out with more identity and premium feeling materials make it not look like a ‘budget’ option either. Petrol MG vehicles don’t tend to be very fuel efficient, or particularly great to drive, so the PHEV provides a much nicer and frugal experience. The HS isn’t the perfect option or most polished, but offers a lot of equipment & is the best value option in the class, perhaps it is not the choice for a driving enthusiast, but a good option for a practical cruiser, or efficient family vehicle!
