Super Bowl Sunday in Los Angeles turned into more than I expected. I rode a Metro bike through Downtown LA, handled some admin work at the library, and accidentally stumbled into a beautiful fashion exhibit featuring Black creators from South LA. From there I refueled at the farmers market, biked over to The Broad to see Basquiat, and ended the night watching the halftime show at a bar before closing it out with a late-night diner stop. All while navigating something else in the background… dating while building my life. Sometimes the city gives you art. Sometimes it gives you clarity. Sometimes it gives you a text after you stop waiting.
