We want to grow a variety of fruit bushes and other plants that are susceptible to the local wildlife e.g. birds/deer etc , so decided to a fruit cage is needed, so we're building one from scratch which will give us a good size and also plenty of room vertically to make accessing the items instead easier and also that we can have some shelving etc, in this video we start construction and protect the wood and in the next few videos we'll add the protective mesh, a door and also some rain water collection amongst other things. #allotment #allotmentlife #growingfruitsincontainers #fruitcage
