Kiera's Animal Care Club Cadets Niah, Rory, Emy and Peter head to Blackpool Zoo to work alongside the zookeepers. The cadets need to give the animals their best care in the hope of officially joining the Animal Care Club! Niah and Rory’s first mucky task is cleaning the giraffe house, before giving them a tasty, leafy lunch! Next, they turn their attention to the Rainbow Lorikeets – in the wild these brightly coloured birds would eat nectar from flowers, so the Cadets mix up some special nectar and hand feed these beautiful birds. Rory and Kiera are in for a surprise though, when the cheeky lorikeets land on their heads! Emy and Peter get to grips with a well-trained sealion called Ruby who needs a health check and then they head over to the lemur enclosure where it’s feeding time! The lemurs LOVE their fruit kebabs and the cadets discover that the smelliest lemur is the boss! Across the UK, pets, farm animals, wildlife and zoo animals are in need of help. Thankfully, there are a dedicated bunch of experts working hard, but assistance is required, and a team of eager, young cadets are about to get their opportunity!
