I kōrero ia - he spoke Kua kōrero ia - he has spoken I tuhi au - I wrote Kua mutu au - I have finished Today we're going to look at how to express when something has JUST happened...this is a "past" type sentence but has a completely different structure to the above examples. The structure is: Kātahi anō + subject + ka + action You can see compared to the other examples the subject and action are flipped around.
