I crack open a new Henry McKenna 10 Single Barrel (#2783 - bottled in 2016) as well as an old (1994 pre-fire) Henry McKenna 10 Single Barrel to see how they compare. While the new is a nice value for $30, the old was amazing for the $20-$22 that it ran back in the day. They both use Heaven Hill’s standard ryed bourbon mash bill that consists of 75% Corn, 13% Rye & 12% Barley. As of 11-11-2016, my current bottle count is approaching 2,400. I am a Certified Specialist of Spirits and have also been certified by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT). I've been actively collecting for the last two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into what I think is a pretty nice collection.
