Hi, everyone. Aiden, here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at these Curt safety chain hooks. They're gonna be spring loaded with a good amount of tension. So when we snap them onto our safety chain loop, you can see it's a good strong hold and we're not gonna have any accidental disconnects. Let's check 'em out. Now, the chains that we put on this trailer came with these quick links, which are fine, but this larger hook is gonna be nicer for our larger safety chain loops. It's gonna go on a lot easier 'cause we don't have to twist anything in place. We can just kind of push it on and into place like you saw. And it's just gonna get a better hold over time. These are gonna be seven 16 of an inch, so make sure you pick up the right size for your chains and for your vehicle. These are gonna have a weight capacity of 5,000 pounds and come in the kit of one. So if you need two, be sure to pick up two, otherwise you can just pick up one for a replacement hook. They are going to be a steel construction with a zinc finish. That zinc finish is gonna help it last a lot longer in the elements. Eventually just with it being outside, it probably will pick up some rest and corrosion, but that finish is going to help quite a bit. And if you are picking this up as a replacement hook, it's gonna be super easy to get it installed. Let's check it out now. We have our primary latch here. We'll just speed our chain through there. And then we've got the secondary latch on the inside. That's where the chain will live. So we'll put it in there. You can see that's gonna keep it from coming out super easily. It takes a bit of force. And then they can just hook up to our safety chain loops on the vehicle end being sure to cross those chains. And we're ready to hit the road.
