This is a short clip from the independent film "300 Mondays: Beatniks, Music & The Birth Of A Scene" directed by James Campbell. This is how the movie begins, and it features very trippy music by the band, Brutally Frank, from CT. I produced this song in my studio, based around a great bass-line by Tom Harrington. Frank Critelli plays acoustic guitar and sings. I double-tracked him and produced the song, playing drums, percussion, and lead guitar myself for appropriate psychedelic feel! Watching Frank walk from the New Haven Green to Cafe Nine to this music is pure cinematic magic. "The Unspoken Thing" is available on the Brutally Frank cd, "You Can't Handle The Truth". It was actually quite a nice surprise for me to see my production used in this film, because no one asked my permission, so I didn't expect it. It was such a perfect marriage of sound and image, I loved it when I attended the premiere!
