The family of Virginia Giuffre say they feel “vindicated” after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office over allegations he shared confidential documents with Jeffrey Epstein. Giuffre’s brother Sky Roberts said he was overcome with emotion, calling the arrest a moment of “celebration” for his late sister, who died by suicide in May 2025. The former prince, who turned 66 on Thursday, was questioned by Thames Valley Police over claims he passed documents to Epstein while serving as a trade envoy. Although he has been released from custody, investigations remain ongoing. King Charles said the family would offer “full and wholehearted support and cooperation” to authorities, while Mountbatten-Windsor has previously denied wrongdoing and has not commented on the latest allegations.
