Bach: Overture from Orchestral Suite, BWV 1066

Bach's Orchestral Suite in C Major, BWV 1066, is one of my absolute favourite works of his. This work comprises a grand French inegal overture, followed by a fugal section, before returning to the overture. The fugal section, while absolutely beautiful, is fiendishly difficult to play on the organ, with extensive fast semiquavers in the pedal line. Performed in May 2025 at Sydney Town Hall, live in concert.
