However this is a somewhat confusing subject for many people because it only comes with a 12 inch by 12 inch cutting mat. But not all medias require the cutting mat to be used. For example craft vinyl does not need a cutting mat in the Silhouette Cameo machine. In the case of vinyl as long as your media is at least 9 inches wide it will work with out a mat. The process is really quite simple, just go in to the Silhouette Studio software, regular or Designer Edition, and choose to cut without the mat. Then enter in the size of the media you are about to use. With all this done you can then enter in the design parameters for your project. Then just load your media and cut it out.
