Isle of Skye in One Day Exploring Scotland most Iconic Landscapes

If you ever visit Scotland, the Isle of Skye should be near the top of your list, even if photography is not your passion. I only had one day there, although I had hoped for two. Even with that extra time, there still would have been so much left untouched. Because of the tight schedule, I had to carefully choose what was both meaningful and possible to explore in a single day. Two locations were non negotiable. The hike up to Old Man of Storr was a must for its dramatic, rugged landscape crowned with towering basalt spires. And then there was Neist Point Lighthouse. I love lighthouses, and this one, perched at the edge of a sweeping line of cliffs, was a place I had seen in photos long before I ever knew I would visit Scotland. Many of the spots on my list were scenes I had admired in landscape groups for years. The other two stops were Sligachan Old Bridge, conveniently right along the way, and the Fairy Pools with their crystal clear waters. Join me on this adventure across the breathtaking Isle of Skye.
