Using the Ajika Iso Fishing Center, we boarded the Black Samson from April 16th to April 18th! We set sail at 11:30. The chartered Black Hercules with 25 expedition members from Taiwan set sail early at 10am. After about four and a half hours, the Samson slowed down. We first dropped off Mizutani-san, a legendary fisherman from Osaka, at Nanpeido near Arita-se on Otokojima Island, and the up-swelling began. I was called after heading south and passing Scallop. Somewhere on the west rocks of Kuroki Island? I started fishing at 5pm, and by 7am the next morning there were moray eels, moray eels, moray eels... There were moray eels everywhere.
