We head north through Trentham with it's single remote and tranquil lock. We then continue towards Stoke on Trent navigating it's 5 locks up to the summit pound of the Trent and Mersey Canal. Through Stoke we finally arrive at our final destination for the day at Westport lake. We pass Etruria Junction where the Caldon Canal meets the Trent and Mersey Canal. Here we find the Etruria Industrial Museum along with the statue of the great canal engineer James Brindley who opened the Trent and Mersey canal in 1777 I hope you enjoy the Video.
