Hey girls! To be honest, this isn't a video I had planned to do, but as some emails have come in from you girls about this, I feel like God has been putting this video so heavily on my heart that I haven't been able to focus on much else until I filmed it. So I hope that this can encourage you in some way! Love, Tiffany Dawn QUESTIONS TO ASK: I think it's so important for us as Christians to ask, "What does the Bible say, and what does it mean by what it says?" about every issue. The second part of that question is where the gay marriage debate enters the church. Some Christians would say that the Bible means exactly what it says, and others would say that there's a deeper layer of context and meaning. That's why I love the following resources, because they help me better understand both perspectives, both "sides" of the debate. The first two resources are people's stories and the second two resources are essentially Bible studies, one from each side of the debate. I really enjoyed reading them and found all of them very interesting. As you look through these resources and consider these questions, I'd encourage you to talk with people in your life who are older and wiser in their faith; I think having some kind of "mentor" as well as some friends to bounce your ideas off of is very helpful.
