Let's take a full and detailed look around the new Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet in the game reserve in which we have been based for our South African safari experience to launch the car. Joining Mercedes for the launch of the new G Class based machine in the Madikwe Game Reserve on the border with Botswana has been arguably the experience of my lifetime. The Landaulet houses the engine of the G65 AMG, the structure of an extended 4x4^2 and almost looks of the G63 AMG 6x6 combined with the opening rear section made famous by previous generations of Landaulet. Only 99 units of the G650 will be built, available in Europe, Middle-East and Russian markets with pricing information to follow at the Geneva motorshow where the car officially marks its debut.
