This is my review of Pettit Marine Paint Running Gear Guardian. I installed this on all under water metals on my boat, and those areas were beyond loaded with growth. the selling point was we would no longer have to scrape barnacles and just would have to touch up a spot or two for the next season. never have I ever had this much growth on my running gear. I contacted Pettit about this, they had me reach out the the rep. He was supposed to get right out to check it out. I waited till the end of the work week for posting this but since I never heard back I don't want anyone else to fall for this joke of a product. I posted it to Pettit Facebook page last night and they deleted my posts and blocked me on Facebook for an honest review! I've been using Pettit products for atleast a decade and well the fact that they would delete a review makes me never want to use any of their products again. After spending a couple hundred dollars on the product, lots of labor prepping and having an engine failure you would think this company would atleast pretend to care! Very disappointed.
