Indian LCH Prachand Gets HELINA Missile & Kamikaze Drones India’s indigenous Light Combat Helicopter Prachand is becoming even more powerful as new weapons are integrated into the platform. Developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the helicopter is designed especially for high-altitude warfare and can operate effectively in regions like the Himalayas and Ladakh. With the integration of advanced systems such as the HELINA (Helicopter-launched Nag) anti-tank guided missile, Prachand will be able to destroy enemy tanks and armored vehicles from long distances using fire-and-forget technology. There are also plans to integrate loitering munitions, allowing the helicopter to launch small suicide drones that can search for targets and strike with high precision.
