The Gradeall OTR splitter adapted for use on foam filled OTR tyres. These tyres typically have a polyurethane foam inner which presents a challenge for most splitting techniques. The OTR splitter here is fitted with a wider idler wheel to support the inside of the tyre. Apart from that the splitter works as usual, the cutting blade both rotates and cuts the tyre. Once fully cut it can be removed from the machine providing two cut outer sections and the solid polyurethane core.
