Wagner GM4700 Aircoat Spraying Precat Lacquer # 279

After seeing a fare amount of videos on YouTube on the Wagner GM4600/4700 Aircoat guns, I decided to see what all the hype was.I recently purchased a Wagner GM4700 Aircoat spray gun off of eBay for a price that was so low, I could not pass it up to try it. The Wagner Aircoat series guns are not very popular in the US, but very popular in Europe and other countries. Now with that said, the Aircoat term is not new to the US. For quite some time Titan airless sprayers had a fine finish unit that had an electric airless pump (440) and a small on board compressor for atomizing air, and the gun was a GM3600 Aircoat I'm using this gun on the CA Technologies 14:1 PEAK pump that originally had a Bobcat gun on it. Both guns used 750 psi fluid pressure and a 411 tip, however the Bobcat required 17 psi atomizing air where as the Wagner only required 10 psi atomizing air. Ironically enough, Wagner owns CA Technologies, Walther Pilot, Titan / Capsray Paint Sprayers and WIWA (Wilhem Wagner). This is my first time using it, and I will say I am impressed. The precat lacquer laid out nicely, seemed to flash off a bit faster, and the overall "hand" (feel) seemed to be more silky. I don't know exactly what it is, but the pattern appears to be softer with less bounce back
