What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this boat fender from Taylor Made. So, it's gonna go on the edge of your pontoon boat and protect it when you go to dock it, that way the dock doesn't make contact with your boat. Let's check it out. Right away, I wanted to show you what's different about this fender verse your traditional ones. Here's a more traditional one. It's really nice. Works just fine. This is also Taylor Made. It's keeping a nice buffer between the boat and the dock. The nice thing about this one though, is it's got this groove in there and it comes with a cinch strap. So, you won't have to use ropes anymore. You don't have to tie any knots. It actually goes right into place and I can show you how it works right here. And push this out a little bit. It goes and hooks underneath the lip on the top pontoon boat right there. You can see how it goes up and in there. And the cinch strap will pull it up. So, it's pretty easy to set up and it's really snug. You don't have to worry about this moving back and forth. It's gonna stay in place once you get it installed. So, I ran the strap through the top here. Made sure it was straight and we're gonna come around the top rail. Once we go through, we're gonna go in down here through the bottom rail first. So, we tuck the buckle down there. Make sure that enough of it's in there so I can grab it here. All right. We'll bring it up towards the boat. And I'm gonna go ahead and run our cinch strap through. Make sure you run through the big portion first and then the small portion out front. That way as you pull it, it gets tighter. Makes it way easier than tying a knot. So, now that it's set up, I'm gonna pull a little bit tighter. And push the pontoon boat away just a little bit so that I can loosen the strap and lower it. So, I'm just gonna lower it a little bit. I pulled a little too tight, 'cause we want it to fit underneath this portion of the boat so that this goes up in that groove and we know it's gonna stay there. So, I gotta get it away. There we go. That's right where we want it. I'm gonna pull a little bit tighter so it comes up, but now the dock's pushing against the boat, so, it's gonna be easier for me to use both hands to pull on the cinch strap. Think that's plenty tight now. You can see, I can't move the fender at all. It's gonna stay in place. I don't have to worry about it floating either way or either way. However this hits the dock, it's gonna protect it. Overall, really easy to throw on there. Really easy to take off and move if you don't like where the position is gonna be, it's nothing permanent. I like how it hooks underneath the deck of the boat, keeps hitting the same place. We've all seen how sometimes they kind of float back and forth. And most of the time it's the way but sometimes it might not be. So, you might have boat and dock contact and that's not good. I don't want that. Especially my uncle likes to leave his boat out here at the dock overnight when he's done with it. You never know how the waters could get a little rough or people driving by can really shake the deck and the boat and you wanna make sure that there's no contact being made. So, I think this is gonna be good to make sure that doesn't happen and make sure you don't lose this and have to find it in the lake somewhere else. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped..
