Siren's Grotto - Neriad Shawl Solo Enchanter Mission - Everquest Project 1999

In today's video, we head to one of the toughest solo zones in the game... Siren's Grotto. This zone definitely was tough, but luckily, there are a few mechanics that made it possible to solo mobs without getting slaughtered every pull. This zone is highly sought after by enchanters because of the Neriad Shawl which drops from mermaids. This is a best in slot shoulder item for the class that adds a solid 25 charisma and a big chunk of mana to your stats. This allows you to free up other item slots for better gear. You'll see me work my way around the zone and then solo the mermaids with a few deaths. All of these deaths were just dumb mistakes on my part and ignorance on how the zone works exactly. After a few hours, this became easier and easier like any other zone. Thankfully, I got my neriad shawl relatively quickly and didn't have to spend too much time here. Unfortunately, I lost my non-kill on sight faction 2 kills before I got the shawl. It would of been nice to still be able to run through the zone without losing that faction, but well worth it.
